Stratford Motor Inn East Ellijay

All we needed was a bed for the night, and at the last minute found chain hotels in the area to be exorbitant. This was our cheapest option, and perfectly comfortable. We were able to check in an hour early, dress for a family wedding, and later slip back in after the reception. Easy peasy.

The location was good. It had a pool. The rooms were well insulated and quiet. Didn't hear any noise outside or next door all night like most hotels. The gentleman that checked me in was very polite. Had a small koi fish pond by the office that my kids enjoyed looking at. Not a 5 star hotel , but I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

I think the negative reviews of this hotel are dated, unreflective of recent improvements. My room and that of my friends was spotless. Staff was friendly, I would definitely stay here again.

There was no breakfast and The hotel was in the middle of renovations, The room was clean, and comfortable. The staff helpful.

Room was clean and updated . I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. It’s nothing fancy but was clean and near where I wanted to be. I would stay again.
